I got a bunch of CPU's in my basement.
i7 4790, i5 6500, i5 7400, i5 7500,i7 2600, i5 3570. etc.

I got a GTX 1070ti yesterday from some guy I know.
My other pc broke with a 770 and i7 2600.
Obviously, the I7 4790 would be the best. But MB's are expensive for those.
Should I use the 7500 and buy a different motherboard?

I've got a 6700k with a 1070. No bottlenecking that i've found, however, I only use 144hz 1080 monitors with light-medium gaming so I can't say for certain w/o knowing what kinds of games you're going to be playing.

I just got a steal for a 144hz monitor for 90 bucks lol. 6700k with a 1070 huh. I think in terms of raw performance if I use the i7 4790 our fps should hover around the same since your cpu is better. But my gpu can beat a founder's edition 1080 if overclocked. Btw it's a EVGA 1070ti SC
