Why would you like to become a staff member?:
I would like to become staff on SagePvP as I enjoy helping others, I also believe that I can learn a lot from being staff on Sage which may help me in the future eg applying for a job as I think being staff will help me create a better work ethic. The main factors that motivated me to apply would definitely be the learning and social aspects of SagePvP. Through being accepted I believe I could learn a lot about staffing and believe I could challenge myself to the limits as well as previously mentioned the experience will be one of a kind. I also believe that through being a staff member I could make a lot of friends (players and staff members) and socialise with a lot of other people. I would also like to become staff as I believe SagePvP is one of the best servers on Minecraft currently and I would love to offer players a safer and less toxic community in which they enjoy playing. As well as this I would like to be staff as I currently believe I have enough experience to help greatly help others on Sage's large player base as if SS verified I could find closet cheaters and make the gameplay as fair for everyone as possible. One of the main reasons I would like to become a staff member is because I genuinely enjoy playing Sage kitmapand would love to help and encourage fairness and help people enjoy themselves to their full extent. Another big reason I would like to become staff is helping people in discord and teamspeak as I am always looking at my phone if im on my pc to help other people and answer any queries they may face swiftly and respectably. I would like to become staff on SagePvP for the new experiences that it would offer me,mainly the larger player base and more problems that I could deal with. Another reason I would like to become staff is the fact that I enjoy staffing and helping other people and will always be active and will dedicate all of my free time to Sage.
If accepted, how would you improve the players' experience?:
If accepted I believe I could improve the experience of every player through hard work and determination, this may sound cliché but I believe that hard work is the key to anything and if you put your mind to it you can accomplish any goal you may have. If I was accepted I believe I could make the player base cleaner and quickly mute extremely toxic people in game chat. I also believe that if accepted I could learn new things off higher staff members to allow myself to help as many players and allow them to have a more enjoyable time on Sage by not being unfairly killed by a cheater etc. Below are some attributes I possess and believe would improve the experience of players.
Honest - I believe that honesty is the best policy as if you lie when staffing it will lead to worse in the future eg getting demoted, I believe that if you lie you are only kidding yourself and an innocent player may be punished due to your stupidity. I will never lie and I believe many other people can back me up on this, also I believe that lying is extremely unprofessional and that you can be easily demoted due to it.
Mature - I believe I am very mature and will always stay 100% professional when staffing as well as this I can also take a joke. I believe that if you are not mature then people will think less of you and will not trust you to do your job correctly. I will always maintain my maturity levels and will not be wound up by a toxic player etc.
Unbias - I personally believe I am a very unbias person and will not take sides in a situation whether it be a friend or a media rank. I will always compare the evidence before making a decision or consulting a higher staff member. So you can be sure I am never false banning someone because of a bias incident as well as linking into the fact I will always record to show I am not committing false bans. I understand that taking sides is extremely unprofessional and that everyone should be treated the same.
Active/Dedicated - If accepted I will be staffing to my full extent everyday to make sure the server contains as little cheaters as possible keeping the enjoyment of the player base as high as possible thus hopefully boosting the player base as well as this I am NOT a server hopper and if accepted will solely grind to become the best of my ability and I will always try to spend every second of my free time on Sage helping players and moderating the server.
Conscienous - I believe I am a very conscienous person meaning that I will always do my job to the best of my ability and will always be looking to improve on any mistakes I may have made. This means that I will work to my full extent to help a player with any problems they are facing by improving on my past mistakes at the advantage of the player I am dealing with. As well as this I believe my conscienous behaviour gives me a huge advantage as I will always be working to the best of my ability and not doing half of a job.
Recording - I believe recording plays a big part in staffing as it allows staff to keep an eye on what their team is doing, I believe my ability to record everything gives me a huge boost as higher staff members will always know why I banned someone due to the proof I can provide. This will allow staff to know that I will not be abusing my power to false ban others as well as this I could use these clips to create a Staff Series (if allowed) to help boost the player base. If I am recording I will always have evidence at the click of a mouse.
Extremely patient - I believe patience is another good variable for staff members to possess as if you are rushing a player/client they will feel under pressure and will become nervous resulting in their problem not being fixed properly. I will never be impatient and will always allow the player to fully explain their issues and what they need help with as well as the fact I will allow them sufficient time and not kick them for the teamspeak at the earliest possible time. The fact that I am patient will allow me to understand the situation more and help them to the best of my ability.
TeamSpeak and Discord - I will always be active in TeamSpeak and discord and looking to sort out any problem a player may be experiencing and will allow for me to help with players issues over twelve hours a day. If a player sends a message in discord I will try my best to respond and help them as quickly as possible or if they join TeamSpeak I will try to swiftly move them and help them sort out their problem as quickly put as professionally as possible so they can get on with playing HCF or Kitmap. If a player comes in with an issue regarding buycraft I will quickly move them to Donation support or if they need a certain staff member I will move them into specific with (- staff members IGN) beside their name
Screensharing - I believe that the fact I have knowledge on screensharing is useful as I will be able to help remove "Closet Cheaters" from the community if I pass my screenshare test. I personally believe my knowledge on screensharing is advanced and that I could thoroughly help many players who are experiencing unfair deaths etc. I understand how to use programs such as process hacker and manually SS and personally have strings to find known ghost clients.
Group worker - I believe due to my previous staffing experience that I can easily adapt to large groups of staff members meaning that I can do my job to my full extent through communication and if required help from higher staff members. I believe that I can work better in a large group of people as I will be comfortable having previously already done it multiple times. I believe large groups allow for a larger amount of cheaters to be banned and a lot more server moderation to happen as the player base will be strengthened and I believe I will be able to fit right in.
Knowledge of HCF - I believe this is a huge bonus as I have played HCF for over 3yrs and know how it works and is played. I believe this is a huge advantage as I will be able to understand how the server works and know what I can do to help make it cleaner and smoother for other players. As well as this it will allow me to know when a player is block glitching or freezing mc etc or if it is a hitbox or a lag chunk etc.
Serious - I believe I am quite a serious person even though I am down to have a laugh and joke around with other staff members when the time is correct, although whenever a player comes into TeamSpeak etc with a serious issue I was always act 100% serious and listen to them to the best of my ability to thoroughly understand and assist them with any issue they may face.
