I have a couple of suggestions for kits.

I think you should be able to use /kit while in combat and when you use /kit the armor should automatically be applied (the armor should already be worn). I believe it makes the game more entertaining and adds a bit of fun to it especially when you can easily block up it allows the person trapped to be able to get a second chance after they've dropped their set..

I tried it today while waiting my spawn tag to go away and when I did it my armor was not applied and I was instantly killed.

They could just add a partner item like a backpack or something that you could store pots in

This suggestion has been added. Every time you claim a gkit the armor will be automatically put on.
